Web services
What are web services for?
Basically they're used to make one machine talk to another, share and exchange information. This can be very useful in most types of businesses.
For example your shop can automatically update currency conversion rates and shipping cost information.
It's possible to simplify entering UK and US adresses by looking up full adresses from postcode and house number.
What kind of web services do we implement?
We support both Microsoft .NET and LAMP (Unix) environments, using SOAP (XML RPC) or simpler REST API-s for data exchange. That covers typical small business solutions and standard internet services. In addition, we have extensive skills in the IBM AS/400, iSeries, System i5 environment and have integrated web applications into their ERP applications.
Do I need those?
Do your clients/resellers/partners need to know up-to-date company information, like product prices and stock levels or event calendars?
If so, we can build a web service, which will allow others (people you give access to, or just anybody, if you like) find and access data from your company's servers like Access Database. Your partners will be able to seamlessly integrate your information in their systems and have up-to-date information.
Does your business rely on external information? Do you find yourself monitoring and looking-up same information over and over again?
If so, it's a good idea to automate this. We can write software for you that will automatically download information from other company's web services, internet or just tightly connect together your in-house systems and databases.
