Website Business Objectives
An Ideadesigners Business analyst conducts a formal, structured on-site review. Reviews can be completed in just one hour for some companies, plus an additional hour to provide a written report. The minimum cost is £125.00 (plus travel). (plus travel).
Website Analysis and Audit
An Ideadesigners Web specialist conducts the 100-step formal, structured (normally off-site) review. The minimum cost is £250.00. Costs depend on the size of the website. A medium-sized website can be analysed in 1 day leading to a typical cost of £495.00.
Development
Short projects are normally costed at £495.00 per developer-day. A typical Website improvement project is unlikely to take less than 3 days.
Full website rebuild to Ideadesigners exacting standards is unlikely to take less than 5 days for a small website, and is of course completely dependent on the scale of the project. We're happy to provide you with more details. Projects can be undertaken at a fixed-price, or we can work within "low/high" estimates where the scope is not yet determined.
Support and maintenance
Problem identification and resolution of program defects is provided at no extra charge (subject to contract) for 90 days after initial delivery of the software. On-going support and maintenance is available subject to agreement for any project work we have done. This will normally be 18% of the Project cost per annum. This provides for a standard number of support hours per month at reduced rate and any additional hours at reduced rate. It can cover search engine ranking, updates and tweaks to the operating systems, programming, text of the website, and program defect identification and resolution (after the standard 90-day warranty period). We strongly recommend that a Support and Maintenance agreement is taken out. It provides assurance that your website remains up to date in a changing environment, but it also generally leads to cost savings, because support is available at a reduced rate and small projects can be undertaken without the overheads of formal quotation and contingency estimating.
